Why I Created Badass Tea Co.

After my heart valve surgery, I learned how powerful small moments of support can be. Tea became a steady part of my healing — something warm to hold, something calming to return to when my body felt unfamiliar and recovery felt overwhelming.

Badass Tea Co. was created from that experience. Our blends are crafted to support real women through real life — stress, recovery, busy seasons, and everything in between. Not perfection. Not pressure. Just tea that helps you breathe, slow down, and take care of yourself one cup at a time.

Are your teas organic?

At Badass Tea Co., we source almost all of our teas as USDA Certified Organic from our trusted suppliers. However, we’re unable to label them as USDA Certified Organic unless each tea goes through individual certification under our brand.

Given that we ship so many types of teas each month and the approval process for each tea can take weeks, meeting the strict deadlines for our packaging and production makes this certification process challenging.

In short, while most of our teas are organic, our business model doesn’t always allow us to include the certification on the label. Rest assured, we prioritize quality and transparency in every tea we offer.

When does my first subscription box ship?

We keep things simple and flexible. Your first box ships within 24 hours, Monday through Friday, so you don’t have to wait to start sipping. Once shipped, you’ll receive an email notification with tracking information as soon as your box is scanned into the postal system. While public holidays might cause minor delays, we’ll always do our best to get your tea to you as quickly as possible. Whether you’re a casual tea sipper or a die-hard tea lover, we’ve got you covered with options that fit your lifestyle.

When do follow up boxes ship?

Regular monthly shipments are made around the 4th-6th of the month. Billing for recurring subscriptions happens on the 1st of the month. Example: You are billed on April 1st for the April box, which ships around April 4-6. Ship dates vary slightly depending on weekends and holidays, but shipments are always made in the first week of the month
