Badass Tea Co. was founded by Karen Hadden, a certified health coach, self-care coach, and tea educator who believes wellness isn't about perfection—it's about creating intentional moments that fit naturally into everyday life.

Following open-heart surgery and the unexpected challenges of recovering from cardiac depression, Karen discovered that tea became far more than a beverage. It became a source of comfort, a daily rhythm, and a gentle reminder to slow down during a season filled with fear and uncertainty.

Along the way, she realized that some of life's greatest healing often comes through the smallest moments—a quiet cup of tea, a handwritten note, a walk outdoors, or a meaningful conversation with someone who truly listens. That experience also ignited a passion for educating women about heart health and sharing how tea, simple daily habits, and intentional living can support overall wellness.
